Orogen is very proud to be a sponsor of the Calgary International Film Festival. In addition to supporting the festival as an International Documentary Film Section Partner and Closing Night Afterparty Sponsor, our Head of Acquisitions and Creative, Lauren Case, is a Juror for the International Narrative Film Competition.
Orogen is thrilled to have 4 of our films featured at CIFF 2024 including the Opening Night Gala film The Thicket (filmed in Calgary!) and The Apprentice, Rumours and Bookworm all featured as Special Presentations!
Orogen Scholarship
Orogen believes in the importance of corporate social responsibility and is proud to have developed scholarships with the goal of supporting artists. For our first scholarships we chose to work in cooperation with UniverseSoul to provide assistance to dancers that may otherwise not get the opportunity to dance/compete/perform. We chose to work with UniverseSoul as a female led organization that promotes inclusivity in every aspect.
